Need an EcoVadis consultant? We'll help you get a score you're happy to share.
A customer has asked for your EcoVadis rating, or your last score came back lower than you hoped. We get your policies and evidence into shape before you submit. Fixed fees from £2,950 + VAT.
Where are you now?
The request has just arrived
We check what you have against what EcoVadis looks for, write the missing policies with you and organise the evidence before the questionnaire opens. Deadline already close? See our fast-track EcoVadis support.
The score came back low
We go through your scorecard theme by theme and plan the changes worth the most points before reassessment.
The 12 months are nearly up
We update the evidence and use the renewal to lift the score, so each year gets easier.
Why do good companies get bad scores?
Because EcoVadis scores evidence. Analysts look at what you can show: written policies, the actions behind them and the results you report.
Think of an exam where you only get marks for the working you write down. Plenty of suppliers have the right answer in their heads and lose the points on paper. A policy nobody signed. Training nobody recorded.
So what helps increase EcoVadis assessment scores? Proof. For every theme, the analyst wants to see each policy put to work and its outcome measured. Close those gaps before you submit and the score moves further than any new initiative would.
Already rated? Your scorecard lists the improvement areas for each of the four themes, and medals now go by rank, so Platinum means the top 1%. Our guide to EcoVadis scores and medals covers the detail, and our fast-track helps when the deadline is close.
How it works
- A 30-minute call. Tell us who asked, by when and what score they want. If you don't need help, we'll say so.
- Fixed-fee proposal. Scope and price agreed in writing before work starts.
- Readiness check. A ranked list of gaps across the four themes, with owners and dates.
- Build, submit, review. We work with your team until submission and go through the scorecard when it arrives.
Fees
One fixed fee covers everything from the readiness check to the scorecard review. You'll know the cost before we start, and it won't move.
| Company size | Fee |
|---|---|
| Up to 25 employees | £2,950 + VAT |
| 26 to 99 employees | £3,950 + VAT |
| 100 to 999 employees | £5,600 + VAT |
| 1,000 or more | Quoted after a call |
Founding client offer: a free Taster, normally £950. Give us a short testimonial once your scorecard is published, and we'll run one topic from your evidence, such as energy or waste, against our evidence base of more than 2,000 verified projects and report what it earned companies like yours.
What to look for in an EcoVadis consultant
- A fixed fee in writing. You should know the full cost before work starts.
- Honesty about scores. EcoVadis analysts set your score. Nobody outside EcoVadis can promise one, so walk away from anyone who does.
- A director's eye. Mike Kelly is a Chartered Director, so the policies we write are ones a board can sign with confidence.
- Clarity on accreditation. EcoVadis runs an Accredited Consulting Partner programme. Ask whether a consultant is in it. We aren't: Nemetan is independent, sells no EcoVadis subscriptions and has no commercial tie to EcoVadis.
What suppliers ask us
How long does it take to improve an EcoVadis score?
The rating only changes at reassessment, normally after 12 months. Start three to six months before the questionnaire opens so there is time to write, approve and use new policies.
Can you fill in the questionnaire for us?
We work through it with you, but your team submits it. EcoVadis checks answers against the documents you attach, so the evidence has to be yours.
What does EcoVadis cost?
Two separate costs. EcoVadis charges an annual subscription based on company size, location and plan; its pricing tool gives the current figure. Our support is a fixed fee, from £2,950 + VAT depending on company size. See fees.
